Portland, ME, November 10th, 2008 – Kepware Technologies, the leader in Communications for Automation, announces that it has been selected by Mtelligence Corporation of San Diego, California, as their primary provider of device connectivity to manufacturing equipment on the plant floor.
Mtelligence MIMOSA Interop Server (MIS) helps global manufacturers drive out unnecessary costs by shifting traditional calendar-based maintenance to Condition Based Maintenance, reducing downtime as well as maintenance costs. Predictive maintenance provides significant cost benefits to manufacturers, positive shifts in return on assets and overall equipment effectiveness for critical assets. MIS supports bi-directional integration between plant floor condition monitoring and EAM/CMMS systems, enabling operators to see maintenance status within their HMIs, and enabling maintenance planners to see asset health degradations in the form of predictive work orders in their maintenance system.
As a "Connected with Kepware" partner, Mtelligence will both deliver and support Kepware products with their MIS offering. Kepware will work closely with Mtelligence to ensure they are current with all plant floor connectivity technologies and that Mtelligence and Kepware products are properly validated in order to deliver a high quality and reliable end customer experience.
"Mtelligence has been a recommender of Kepware communications in the past," stated Roy Kok, VP of Marketing and Sales of Kepware Technologies. "Both companies have recently been selected for inclusion in the Wonderware "Endorsed" Partner Program, their highest level of relationship. It seemed only natural to bring our relationship to this new level, where Mtelligence standardizes on Kepware for device connectivity."

"Kepware has an incredible reputation in the industry and they are clearly the partner of choice for device communications. Their leadership in OPC and OPC UA is highly complementary to our leadership in MIMOSA. This tighter relationship enables us to deliver the best connectivity possible for our customers."
