ATLANTA – To help meet the demand for new technology in Mexico and Latin America, ASHRAE is providing educational courses at the upcoming AHR Expo-Mexico.
AHR Expo-Mexico will take place Oct. 10-12, 2006, in Mexico City. Since 1997, AHR Expo-Mexico has been a resource for new products, ideas and services in Mexico and Latin America. It is sponsored by ASHRAE, the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration institute and the International Exposition Co.
A variety of courses related to HVAC&R are being offered by ASHRAE’s Mexico City Chapter. These will focus on energy, refrigeration, indoor air quality, and building controls.
“The demand for new technology being highlighted at Expo-Mexico is shared throughout the world,” Terry Townsend, P.E., ASHRAE president, said. “ASHRAE is committed to meeting that need through its role as a global leader in the HVAC&R community. ASHRAE serves as a link in the global economy.
Through ASHRAE, members from Mexico can reach out to engineers around the world, such as Dubai, Hong Kong and Germany, to work together to improve HVAC&R.”
