The Russian BACnet Association BIG-RU and “Building Automation in Russia” journal highly appreciate the activity of Mr. Ken Sinclair and www.AutomatedBuildings.com web-site. This web-site was the main resource with professional information about modern building automation systems in 2007 feeding Russian experts with North American experience in BAS systems. Mr. Jim Sinopoli was the author of the most popular articles from this web-site translated into the Russian language.

The Russian Building Automation market is not mature and at the same time it has huge potential with 20-25% annual growth. In this situation the American experience will be very important for Russian BAS experts. Most North American manufacturing companies are already present in Russia, but the latest trends in the US market will not reach Russia for a few years. We especially would like to point out the contributions made by Mr. Sinclair and Mr. Sinopoli in the progress of the latest building automation technologies.

Two special diplomas prepared for Mr. Ken Sinclair and Mr. Jim Sinopoli were given on Tuesday (January, 22) at 10 am (room E19, Javits Convention center, NY).
