MicroMain Corporation and Delta Controls Connect
Real-Time Maintenance Automation Expands Through New Interface

AUSTIN, TX - MicroMain Corporation has formed a strategic alliance with Delta Controls, Inc., a leading manufacturer of building automation systems (BAS), in an effort to further automate maintenance processes for facility management. Through this strategic alliance, MicroMain has created msDELTA™ - an interface between MicroMain's flagship Computerized Maintenance Management System, MS2000™, to the Open Real-time Control Architecture (ORCA) product line from Delta Controls.

Delta's automation controllers and operator workstation software track runtime meters, equipment status and other controls in real time and with MicroMain's new interface, alerts and alarms can automatically create work orders and tasks within MS2000. MS2000 collects real-time meter readings to add to asset history and can automatically generate work orders and PMs based on run-time data.

"Facilities utilizing Delta Control's ORCA had an immediate need to interface with a work order management system and we saw an opportunity to provide that service," says Pat Conroy, MicroMain Corporation President. "msDELTA is the result. We are pleased to be working with Delta Controls and believe our alliance will provide a solution that positively impacts both our customer bases."

Raymond Rae, Vice President, Delta Controls says he believes the fit between MicroMain and Delta Control's solutions is a logical one that directly responds to real market need.

Facility managers now can have an automated process for issuing and managing work orders that are created when an asset's alarm is triggered."
