Engenuity Systems and Furukawa Electric Team to Bring LonMark and LonWorks Products to Japan

(Chandler, Arizona) - Engenuity Systems, Inc. (Chandler, AZ) and Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. (Sendai, Japan) announced they have signed an agreement paving the way to improve LonWorks product availability in Japan. The agreement outlines the framework for an alliance between the two companies that will make Engenuity's vast LonMark and LonWorks product line available exclusively to Furukawa Electric Co. in the Japanese market. The relationship will bring more than a thousand products from more than forty manufacturers to the rapidly growing market. 

Aiming to duplicate Engenuity's successful business model in Japan, Furukawa will market, sell and provide technical support for the products offered and will stock products most often used by their customers. Both companies believe this relationship will quickly increase the accessibility of LonWorks products to systems integrators and general construction companies where the technology has been drawing an increasing amount of attention.
