Contemporary Controls Offers iSNMP™ as an Enhanced Tool For Support of the CTRLink® Managed Switches

Downers Grove, Illinois - Contemporary Controls (CC), a major manufacturer of Industrial Ethernet switches, and COI Software, Inc., a developer of iSNMP™ software, recently announced that it formed a business relationship that allows customers to purchase iSNMP as part of the Contemporary Controls’ product offering. This is seen as an additional support tool for the growing Industrial Ethernet market. iSNMP is specifically optimized to work with CC’s CTRLink managed switches: the EICPM, the EISXM and the EISBM B-Line series.

Any OPC client application, including: Wonderware InTouch; Cimplicity HMI; Intellution iFix; Siemen WinCC; Iconics and Allen Bradley RSView.

iSNMP is an OPC 2.0 server that allows HMI software packages to monitor the network. This software product provides SNMP data available from CC’s managed switches to any OPC compliant application.
