With its rhymes and beautiful illustrations, this book is a great introduction to building and HVAC engineering through a young girl's visit to an unfinished building. Follow along as Lucy goes to work with her father and learns how beams and columns, electrical systems, and HVAC ducts work like the human body to make buildings what they are.

“How do they work? Why don’t they fall? What lights them up? Do they need to be tall?” With its rhymes and beautiful illustrations, this book is a great introduction to building and HVAC engineering through a young girl's visit to an unfinished building. Follow along as Lucy goes to work with her father and learns how beams and columns, electrical systems, and HVAC ducts work like the human body to make buildings what they are.
