HumiTrac XR helps improve building efficiency
Accurately controlling the energy efficiency of a building provides significant
cost savings for facilities managers and a comfortable environment for building
occupants.
HumiTrac XR, the latest version of the widely used HumiTrac humidity
transmitters from GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies, now features dew point,
wet bulb and enthalpy measurements in one transmitter. This combination allows
energy flow to be controlled without the need for complex programming within a
building management system.
“The HumiTrac XR provides key information to help facility managers make better
decisions regarding indoor air quality and efficiency of the HVAC system,” said
Chris Ranwell, Global Product Manager at GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies.
“A few adjustments based on this information can lead to potential energy and
cost savings.”

HumiTrac XR has a compact, rugged design and can be user configured for both
current (4-20 mA) and voltage (0-5 or 0-10V) outputs. The HumiTrac XR uses low
cost field replaceable RH and temperature sensors that eliminate calibration
downtime and make field service simple and quick.
GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies has a wide range of sensors that help
monitor indoor air quality and help maximize energy use. GE building
transmitters, such as those found in the HumiTrac product family, can help
achieve green building objectives and reduce a building’s environmental
footprint.
