SCL Elements to release building automation game changer at AHR Expo 2010

MONTREAL, December 10, 2009 – A new line of wired + wireless controllers will be officially launched next January at AHR Expo 2010 in Orlando, FL. Under the CAN2GO™ brand, these controllers support wireless mesh communication and serial link, and can manage wired and wireless (EnOcean, ZigBee) end-devices at the same time. They automatically convert all end-devices into BACnet objects and host a complete building automation web interface. The product has already won an AHR Expo Innovation Award Honorable Mention preceding the exhibit.

The CAN2GO™ line of building automation products will allow integrators to use new wireless technologies with wired devices, without integration difficulties and while retaining full control capabilities. Each unit supports two-way wired and wireless mesh communication, in-node multi-protocol integration, programmability and BACnet IP server duties. These feature lead to significant savings on deployment and installation, as well as integration.

The new product line will be shown at the CAN2GO™ (SCL Elements) booth at the annual ASHRAE event. The display will include Room, VAV, Plant and Touch controllers, each model providing a complete solution for a variety of contexts. SCL Elements will also show its BAS web interface, a remotely accessible BACnet IP interface for building automation.
