Effective November 1st, 2009 RLE Technologies and Geist Manufacturing, a division of Plastic Companies Enterprises, Inc. completed an asset sale of RLE’s Environet Product Group to Plastic Companies Enterprises, Inc. The Environet product line, along with other building automation and asset management software applications, will be managed by the newly formed Geist Intelligent Facilities (Geist I.F.) which will be located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Matt Lane will be president of this newly formed Geist Division.

Environet provides monitoring, alarming, trending, control, and notification to help monitor, manage, and protect remote operations and critical infrastructure. Environet systems are capable of capturing information from a variety of protocols, such as SNMP, BACNet, Modbus, and LON. These disparate information streams can be combined into a single, integrated system with easy to understand graphical interfaces and powerful alarming and reporting functions.

“Our dedication to our clients will remain our top priority as we make this transition. We will be providing the same premiere product with the quality service that our clients have come to know.”—Matt Lane, President, Geist I.F.

“RLE is extremely excited about this acquisition. During the transition, RLE will work closely with the Geist Intelligent Facilities Division to ensure a smooth handoff of all outstanding RLE/Environet projects. Furthermore, RLE will continue to promote Environet as an agent for this division.” —Mike Orlich, C.E.O, RLE Technologies.
