Contemporary Controls, a leading manufacturer of Ethernet technologies used in building automation, will be presenting the newly upgraded BAS Remote 3.0 at the 2010 AHR EXPO® in Orlando, Florida January 25-27 in booth #1169.
The BAS Remote is known as a versatile building automation appliance because it can function as a BACnet/IP and Modbus TCP remote I/O, a Modbus serial to Modbus TCP router, and it can be configured via web pages. Version 3.0 includes Tridium’s function block Sedona Framework™, thereby providing the BAS Remote with controller capability.

The BAS Remote retains its web server configuration capability and its ability to communicate over a BACnet/IP network while functioning as a true application specific controller (ASC).
To learn more, visit the Contemporary Controls booth to see an active display of the BAS Remote 3.0 with Sedona Framework, showcasing the BAS Remote’s control integration that allows Modbus to Modbus TCP routing and Modbus to BACnet mapping.
In addition to the BAS Remote, Contemporary Controls will display their IP routers with a wireless IP router simulation; the popular Skorpion switch series that provides Plug and Play Ethernet connectivity for industrial automation systems, the recently released media converter and PoE injector; and the managed switches family.
