Critical Path Elements of Smart Grid Implementation
I am speaking at the ASHRAE meeting in Las
Vegas Sunday, January 30, 2011, 8:00 AM-9:30 AM
Seminar 5 (Intermediate ) Smart Grid and Net
Zero Buildings : Where Are
We Now?
Althougth it is our 12th consecutive year of
providing free education sessions at AHR Expo this is my first time
doing a presentation for the ASHRAE meeting.
The session description is:
Smart grid is all about connectivity. And the processes of
collecting and interpreting data are at the heart of making the smart
grid work for you. How do you maximize the value
of your investment? How do you engage these audiences so that they
directly experience, learn from and
respond to the environmental consequences of your decisions? How do you
make the invisible visible?
As I started to put my presentation together
I
started as usual with a google of topic, which returned this very
interesting document "Best practices in the deployment of smart grid technologies"
These 10 best practices for the utility industry read as good advice for making our building industry part of the smart grid.
