I am moderator of the above session in Nashville https://www.realcomm.com/

We have the dream team panel of industry experts to discuss this very important topic but only 30 minutes at the end of the day to do it.  Take a look at the qualifications of my panelists. I have included some links so you can see a bit of what they are doing Integrating the OCCUPANT EXPERIENCE.

I too have some thoughts on all of this that I would like to wedge into the 30 minutes.

I would like to make this into at least an hour session so I am thinking I might repeat the session at https://ahrexpo.com/  Orlando when we all will have 2020 vision.....big smile

This is the dream team and the 30 minute magic we must work

Hoping Scott will share some of his thoughts on the Location Services' effect on the UX & OX.

Scott has just staged a very successful https://www.controlscon.com/  Over 600 folks attended of which I was one.

Stephen Dawson-Haggerty is the CTO at Comfy has been called away to meet with colleagues in our European offices and unfortunately won't be able to speak at IBCon next week.

Fortunately, one of our subject-mater experts in integrations, Paul Markette is able to take Steve's place on the panel. Paul has managed the implementation of a number of Comfy projects over the last couple of years and has over 15 years of experience in the building controls industry. Steve is disappointed that he won't be able to make IBCon, but we're confident that Paul is the perfect fit to fill in and represent Comfy on this topic.

Paul Markette's a Solution Architect for Comfy, the market leader in workplace experience, Paul designs enterprise-level solution packages that meet clients' unique needs. From assessing technical qualification of specific building sites to comprehensive solutions consulting, Paul provides guidance on how today's emerging workplace technology can fit into legacy building systems and across global real estate portfolios. Paul brings over 15 years of experience in building automation (including 6 years with Honeywell as a project engineer and technician) and over 7 years as an IT systems administrator, deploying and managing IT infrastructure for both startups and large enterprises.

Here are two recent blogs from Comfy.

Date: 6/12/2019    Time: 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm    Location: Room 208A

We have become very comfortable with the idea of hitting a button on a mobile phone and creating action. Hail a car, order coffee, reserve a table, attend a concert and other instant experiences have become the norm. This same ease of use is moving into our buildings. A host of new companies have arrived to deliver a variety of building experiences. Open the parking gate, get through security, hail the elevator, order the coffee, schedule the yoga class, turn down the A/C and turn on the lights are just some of the new expectations. Every integrator knows this is not an easy task and this session will strive to bring a balanced approach to occupant experience offerings.

Join us to share these experts' views

The time is 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

I will do a quick intro of the topic 2-3 minutes
Each of our panelists will get a 5-minute blast of their take on the topic
We'll discuss with our panel and if we have any time we will open discussion to the audience.

Open to suggestions from all.
