Reliable Controls ushers in a new generation of building controllers with the RC-FLEXair

Victoria, BC, Canada – Reliable Controls has introduced a brand-new generation of building controllers with the launch of the RC-FLEXairŽ advanced VAV controller, an exciting addition to its range of simple, flexible, sustainable building automation products. The culmination of 2 years and tens of thousands of hours of research and development, the freely programmable RC-FLEXair is a BACnet Building Controller ideal for a wide range of variable air volume and room control applications.

James Puritch, VP of Research and Development at Reliable Controls, had some lofty goals when he began developing the company’s new RC-FLEX family of products: Not only did he want to complement a hugely successful existing line of building controls—the MACH-Pro family—but he also wanted to create a solid foundation for the company’s next decade of hardware.

Comcast announced its next generation xFi Advanced Gateway that incorporates WiFi 6E, offering customers an unbeatable broadband experience with a faster, more reliable wireless connection. Comcast’s most powerful device to date, the new gateway will boost capacity in the home with three WiFi bands – 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and a new, 6 GHz band. Together, these WiFi bands reduce interference and increase bandwidth in the home by 3X to support the massive influx of connected devices used by consumers today. The gateway is also Comcast’s first to support the speeds of the future – symmetrical Gigabit speeds – to power the most connected homes of tomorrow.

This module will allow you to measure live power and energy consumption of any three, twin or single phase load in Delta or Wye configuration up to 600 volts. Pumps, heating and cooling, solar, you name it, you can measure its power and so better understand your costs and see changes in load that might give an early warning to faults.
