Orlando, Florida USA - September 30, 2002 Infrasafe, Inc. recently announced that it has extended the reach of the iVisitor™ visitor management solution to seamlessly work with the leading access control system from Software House, a unit of Tyco International's Fire and Security Services group. This interface allows the web based iVisitor system to fully utilize a customer's existing C·CURE® 800 access control system. The C·CURE® 800/8000 access control system is the flagship product for Software House.

iVisitor™ provides a comprehensive, easy to deploy solution to enhance overall building security, reduce building liabilities, provide visitor and employee badging capabilities, and streamline visitor management. There is even an option for employee self-enrollment, making the product implementation as simple as "point and click". For example. at one of North America's tallest high-rises, Chicago's Aon Center, front lobby personnel can automatically print professional visitor badges, encoded with access control information. The solution is very intuitive, and requires nothing but a web browser to operate.

iVisitor was designed to meet the security needs of many organizations, from small facilities with a single lobby, up to an enterprise-wide system with multiple lobbies, many buildings, and disparate geographic locations. iVisitor allows users access any time, any where, and enables personnel to pre-register visitors and groups via a secure Internet connection and web browser.

Hosts are automatically notified of a visitor's arrival. Behind the intuitive and user friendly interface, iVisitor decreases liability, and enhances security policy by linking each visitor with a sponsor or host, and by providing check in time, date, location of entry/exit. iVisitor offers full reporting capabilities, providing audit trails of each entry, and sending optional automatic reports at the end of each day.
