Securing Buildings News

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. - Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. has introduced a new RDX42.22U stand-alone room temperature controller that maintains precise temperature in residential or light commercial buildings.

It offers contemporary styling that blends with any décor. It features an easy-to-read LCD display that provides clear indication of room temperature or setpoint in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The display also provides information for setting temperature control parameters. A fan switch permits continuous fan on or automatic fan operation when heating or cooling load exists. A system switch allows manual selection of heating, cooling or off position.

The RDX series controller is ideal for application requiring 24 Vac two stage heat/one stage cool, four pipe fan coil, unitary, air handling units and heat pump or compressor based equipment. The controller provides manual changeover for separate heat/cool, four pipe systems. The controller is available with or without Siemens logo on the cover.

Siemens room temperature controllers, as well as the full line of Siemens HVAC sensors, valves, actuators and building control systems are available through hundreds of Siemens Building Technologies local offices, drive reps and Staefa Control System dealers.
