SinclairWhat is WOWClowd?  How does it work?

Gille:  WOWClowd is a revolutionary “Mobile Cloud” technology solution that applies the latest wireless technology to the structured cable testing industry.  The one-of-a-kind, WOWClowd Solution utilizes mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets, a specially designed application and innovative cloud technology to gain access to real time test results, project management tools and customer floor plans.

Using Bluetooth™ wireless technology, technicians can use their mobile devices to connect to the WOWTester to initiate and run cable tests.

By using our WOWTester App, a smart phone or tablet becomes the “brains” of the on-site testing process – enabling technicians to test ports and view results in real time, on-site.  The App automatically pushes data directly to the cloud, where floor plans, project progress and real time test results are collected, stored and backed up.

SinclairHow does this solution reduce the risk of lost test results?

Gille:  Test results, project management tools, customer floor plans, and other project documentation are collected, time-stamped, stored and backed-up to the cloud in “real time.”  Because test results will feed immediately to the cloud, data is instantly accessible rather than delayed awaiting manual transfer or even worse, accidently lost when testers are shared, misplaced or stolen.

SinclairHow does this impact the technicians on-site?

Gille:  Technicians will be able to use their smart phones and tablets with the free App to initiate and run cable tests allowing them to view test progress and results in real time on their mobile devices.

Because project information, including floor plans can be stored in the cloud, technicians can confirm and update cable and outlet information from the job site.  They will no longer need to read and mark changes on paper floor plans, which will eliminate confusion and create better records.

The App, will also eliminate cumbersome traditional tester scroll buttons, allowing technicians to use the familiar and advanced interface of their mobile device.

The WOWClowd Master weighs less than a pound.  The remote is even smaller weighing about six ounces.  The WOWClowd Master and Remote are much easier for technicians to carry and attach to their tool belts, so they no long have to carry around big, bulky equipment.   In addition, the devices can test multiple RJ45s making it easier for one technician to complete a project.

SinclairHow can this tool positively impact customer retention?

Gille:  This solution significantly improves client retention, productivity, information access and profitability as owners, project managers, supervisors, field personnel and clients will now have real time access to the cloud where test results, project management tools, customer floor plans, and other project documentation are collected, time stamped, stored and backed up.

Clients can be granted cloud access with pre-set permissions to view real-time project information including status, test results and floor plans.  Having this information may influence clients to return to the solution provider to access this information for future projects.

[an error occurred while processing this directive]SinclairWhat is the cost of the WOWClowd technology, and when will it be available?

Gille:  We are still establishing the price of the subscription.  We know it will be a fraction of the cost of existing technology available today.  Companies will be able to use multiple low-cost remotes with one master to test multiple cables at one time.  This configuration will keep costs lower, also.

We will take pre-orders at the BICSI conference in Orlando February 3 through 5. We anticipate we’ll have product in the market by late spring or early summer.

We believe the WOWClowd solution will be an affordable game-changing product that will revolutionize and transform the cable testing industry.

SinclairWho is WOW Insites, LLC?
